As a Traverse City native, I have witnessed the changing tide of local industry over the years. Lack of resources, including personnel, is a top cited issue when I speak with organizations.
The office manager in charge of IT.
The newly promoted manager who has to learn how to manage his long-time friends.
The newness of AI and the requests to incorporate it into your operations.
The benefits of employee training are obvious, but putting it together isn’t.
Common Questions
What types of custom training do you offer?
There’s no preset menu. Consider custom training like hiring a personal chef who builds an experience with your preferences at the center. For example, we have designed food safety training for marine crews, AI training for office staff, manufacturing skills to engineers and soft skills training to many. View more examples here.
My company is based elsewhere. Can you still help?
Your business doesn’t have to be based in Traverse City for us to help. Consider bringing your organization “Up North” for a training retreat. Learn more about retreats.
I can probably find an online solution. Why work with you?
Yes, that’s true. There is no lack of preset solutions, and they have a role in specific types of training. But when you have a newly minted strategic plan or read the latest results of your HR survey, you may find a bespoke training in a format that works for you (online, hybrid, recurring, one-time Lunch and Learn) aligns well. People rarely regret learning, but when only some of it pertains to their daily work life, it doesn’t hold the same value.
I don’t have any training needs, but I’d like to be involved as an industry partner.
There’s room at the table for industry partners in our NOMIAC mission. Learn more about how to get involved.
